TB04 is a solid choice for smaller indoor carpet track as right now it does have carbon reinforced chassis option. TA07 is a solid choice for Large outdoor track with higher speeds. But for me I feel TA07 has less compromises and will have stiffer chassis parts in the future to make it better for higher traction.
i run mine on the new high bite black carpet in usgt and it out performs most 500$chassis out on the track

I'm right there with you. I'm on grey carpet though. I'm about to run on the black carpet in a couple weeks. What's your set-up?

On a medium track I use 4.0 FDR. I personally use a 55t 48p spur with a 28t 48p pinion. Both are Robinson racing.

I'm runn 88/47 on 64p for a 3.83 running a 25.5 in VTA.

A 88/44 64p gives you a 4.1 ratio.
