Yes and took it off. The spurs are too small to keep a good gear mesh. I've been using the 64T 48p spurs with good results.

I have run it indoors on carpet with the 59t 64p gears. I didn't like the way that much weight moved rearward made the car rotate to easy. It was fast if you could keep the rear end in check. I couldn't over 5 mins.

With the 64T spur it let me get the ratios that I needed. I tried to use a 90T 64p and had the range to go bigger on the pinion but as the pinions became bigger the started to hit the motor mounting screws.

Agreed with this concept. I did it to my USGT for the Stock Wars.
However I am running the blink on my USGT now and finds the car work better on low grip track. Its give the car more rear traction and makes the car push on sweeper. Never had a gear mess issue with this setup.
I ran it in the Mi6 and took it right out.

This will happen if you run 1 degree of camber if you run 2 degree camber the will push a little more in the corner. A little lazy for tight turns but really good on high speed sweepers. I also added a weight behind the battery to keep the car balance when I run the blinky mount.

What are the differences? The only changes I could see from the exploded diagram was the motor mount / chassis and idle gear and shaft.

Lower wishbones are now the options arms from the Mi6. Steering mount is also different to accommadate the new belt location.

The motor mount is the big change. It moves the motor in towards the center of the car and is shorter allowing more rear chassis flex. The chassis is also shaped different to allow more flex.

Guys let hope the front spool shave about 10g. Not that I need it. My car is 1350 on the dot. Balance in all four corners exactly the same. The car has never felt so easy to drive. Was able to get out last Friday. After few changes was able to run 9.0 Fast Lap and slowest lap was 9.2. 98.75 Consistency.
I'm just hoping the aluminum chassis is ready for the launch of the car. I plan to start my early testing on black carpet.
Cant wait to start testing.

How does the new belt & spur gear location effect battery location, as how far in the battery can go?

The new front spool is more in center of the car, so the front belt will also be more in center. It will be the spur/pinion who decide how far in the battery can go.
