I do not know much about it yet, but it seems you can get it as a thermal compound or an adhesive. I am not sure if one works better than the other. I am also going to try to build one of these coolers and have ordered some of the adhesive to see if it will work.
From what I have heard either version of this product or something similar will help the heat and cold transfer better.

I would use a heatsink compound. In Australia, Jaycar sells the stuff for $11 for 50 grams.

this what you talking about? i got this, but its just like a paste that you spread on, its not super glue.

Something that might be of interest...

I seen in a Jaycar ad recently a soft drink can cooler that you plug into a cigy lighter socket... it wrapps around the can in a similar fashion to a motor cooler only bigger.

I`m going to sus one out next week...may be you could pull it apart & use its bits & pieces & for only $19.95 it might be just the thing.

Yeah thats it, I saw it in the Jaycar Catelogue earlier in the week. I didn't know it was a paste though, I thought it would be like super glue. Oh Well.
