Mosfet's For GM Speed Controllers

Hi, I recently blew up my GM V4 speed controller . Yeah, I know it's only a V4...

I was wondering if anyone else has been able to track down the Mosfets for one of these...

I have tried, and unless I order 3000 of them, I can't get them.

I've actually modified the ESC to use external mosfet's, with great success... although a little bulky...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...:)

What MOSFET used in GM?

What MOSFET used in GM? I'm looking for the MOSFETs that used in those small ESC for my DIY ESC. I'll try to locate them for us :)

The forward Mosfet's are a toshiba TPC8003 N-Type mosfet.

The brake one's I'm not sure about...
The numbers on the package are
936
1T8M
F7413

They are both 8 pin surface mount chips... and they are VERY small.

Let me know if you find any info on the brake "mosfets"...

Thanks for any help...

Hey, thanks for the info on the Mosfet.

That IR F7822 Mosfet, is a perfect match for the TPC8003.

The braking mosfet, was made by the same company.
It was an IR F7413.

Available from www.digikey.ciom @ $1.37us each.
I'm still checking for any supplier's in Australia.

Thanks for all your help and I hope this helps others out there...
