Different strokes, brother. I love qualifying. As both a racer and a spectator. There's a purity to the effort that reveals the underlying speed in the car and driver. It's where you see the true differences in skills on the bench and on the track...IMHO.

We would have liked more practice and track time. only two runs per class a day isn't enough for the most people to adjust to a new surface.
Anyway we had a good experience and learned a lot for the next time.
BTW I though about to run 13.5 1/12, but I'm glad that I didn't. 2 classes were enough already. Probably not If we would had ran on the black carpet already.

This was my first big race and I thought Scotty and his team ran an excellent show so I want to thank them for all of their hard effort and commitment to put on an event of this size. Did I mention the track... it was Sweet, 120ft long butter smooth carpet track simply WOW! I can't wait for next year!!!

Big thanks to Scotty and crew for a fantastic week. The track was excellent, I really hope the curbs catch on and are seen at more races, they provided good "feedback" for the drivers without breaking or flipping cars hard. The layout made for great close racing, it was fun to drive. Looking forward to many more IICs

Saw some really great racing and sportsmanship at this years race. Did like the larger track with its berms. Would like to see the wood barriers become 1/2" to 1" shorter for better visibility across a now 60' wide track...Just a suggestion.

Watching the track being constructed for the fifth or sixth time, I really appreciate all the hard work of those workers involved in that process. Awesome!

And teching went really smoothly for me with my straight forward WGT-R car. Easiest year ever...for me. Did like applying tire compound at the table next to tech. Kudos to all the tech crew.

Hoping to see Scotty, Boomer and all the IIC crew next year...for my tenth time!

Bill

Thanks everyone for the compliments but we couldn't have done it without you. You guys also play a big part in making this race what it is.

We have ideas for next year already and we know what we need to fix to make it even better!

Would request that WGT-R be bumped up to a 13.5 motor with the BIG track.

Loved the track anD the curbs , had a blast overall .
But for next yr can we get a higher driver stand if the track is that big again . And let's cut the grass out it killed the groves potential ,and your run if you (I) got on it lol

I had a great time. This was my first year racing IIC, and 2nd time being there.I hadn't ran on road for 6 years, or offroad for a year and a half. Spec gt was the perfect class. Racing was always clean, think I only got moved out of the way once. The whole event went so smooth and the track was great, the only issue I had was the boards are a little tall making it hard to see your car in a few spots. The curbs were fun to put 2 wheels on even if it made you slower. The pit space was amazing! 6 foot wide and 2 foot deep gave plenty of room. I'm glad this event came back and hopefully I can make it back next year. Thanks to Scotty and crew for making a great event.

Thank you Scotty, Boomer, Kraig, Kurt and the rest of the IIC staff. Was so much fun to come "back" to Vegas for the IIC this year. Track was huge and awesome. From a guy who is big on realism (F1 and Gt Spec, cough, cough), the green borders and curbs by Walt were incredible. Look forward to racing with my out of town friends again at the 2017 event !

LiveRC has them but I think you need to be a member to see past videos.
