When not racing regularly...Cycling batteries every 1-2 weeks and storing them at 3.8-3.9 volts per cell is my routine to avoid puffing.

Think I learned this from Danny Sullivan of SMC.

Also store my lipo packs in a gun ammo case after two local racers garages/homes burned down from damaged packs that caught fire.

Learned this from Tim Copp.

I don't think he would bring just one or two sets of wheels just for you. Heck, last time he forgot to order a shirt for me so I can't guarantee that he would remember to get wheels for you.

Panda you can bring them your self and try to get a wildcard to run them in the event.
The structure and stiffness should be the same anyway.

No this is not allowed. You must use the tires and wheels that we provide for the event unless otherwise stated.

So let me throw you a bone.

For pictures and concourse you are more than welcome to use your white wheels with your tires mounted on them. Since we didn't provide you with those tires and wheels you won't be able to use them for racing.

We will allow you to bring a white paint pen and color the wheels, that are provided with your entry, white. When your car is flying around the track people won't be able to tell that the wheels were painted.

Okay Kraig, you are having toooo much fun now. So, do you think tech would notice if I built my tire sets up with these wheels ?

The light color wheels look better but the black wheels didn't look to bad at IIC in 2014.

Careful about the paint pens. I might just get the idea to do up a Benetton B186 and color the tires.

Now, if I still had that Momo body, black wheels would heave been perfect.

Kraig/Scotty- what is the story with shipping to the hotel? We all knew the ins/outs with the Riv... But are there any suggestions for working with this new joint?

I will probably be shipping my equipment as well. Is there a specific date and time I would need to pick my things up from that track?

I will be at the Westgate hotel starting on Tuesday night, September 27. Intend on practicing a couple days at 702 Raceway during the week. Need all the practice I can get...LOL

Will have my SUV and should be able to help get things from 702 over to the hotel leading up to the race.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays are on-road practice/race days at 702.

Cheers.

For anyone planning on shipping, be aware that 702 is closed on Mondays. Confirm that first though.

Will the Spec GT locked FDR be 4.7 as in years past?

Default Amateur Class

Are there any special rules for Amateur class regarding decals on bodies. Heard that no manufacturers decals on bodies or shirts is this true? What about Local Track or Hobby shop decals/shirts
