Default ROAR: Open letter to ROAR RE: Rubber F1 Rules

If you adopt Rubber F1 rules, please allow BOTH 21.5 and 25.5 motors and make it up to the race director which is used at a particular race.

This would make everyone happy, both the 25.5 group and the 21.5 group.

I know some tracks are liking the 25.5 motor, but most of them have smaller tracks. Locally we have tracks with 170' and 260' straight and 25.5 is basically full throttle the whole lap. F1 will have a hard time surviving in our area if it is made 25.5 only at those tracks.

We have a B-main at most every race with 21.5 so F1 is not 'dying' locally either.

Thank you.

Find out who your local roar rep is and provide direct feedback about rules to them.

If a specific region works better for faster motors, then it can be dealt on a smaller level rather than nationally.

How did it end up with 21.5 & 25.5 being run in F1's?

Maybe they should make 21.5 for tracks with 100 ft or more and 25.5 for tracks under 100 ft.

I thought most tracks make they're own motor and tire rules any way. Unless it's a 'Big" race.

I once proposed 25.5 indoor and 21.5 out.

At my local track (Roadrunners RC) in camarillo CA. We are allowing both but i think most are sticking with the 21.5T.

ROAR has a forum which is the best place to address them.

What should be done is go American style...21.5 for F1 and 25.5 for GP2. GP3 can be silver can Mabuchis. And then we can add a vintage body class, over 40, expert, sportsman for each motor class so we have lots of winners.

As much as I hate adding more classes, running both 21.5 and 25.5 classes at the same event would not be that bad.

You should add no lexan wings and no body molded lexan helmets while you are at it
