Default EPIC 3800mah Black shrink cells

Hey all!

I figure since a ton of my OEM guys are on these threads I would write a quick post.

The latest batch of EPIC 3800 cells are in house and available to ship immediately. Give me a call when you get a chance, talk to you soon!!

Are these cells going to be legal?? I know the xebra shrinked 3300's were not allowed at roar events.. Dont they have to have IB shrik??

Also why does trinity put there own shrink on?? It doesnt make the cells any better, and seems to hurt things in the opast..

Are you talking about the Epic 3800s or the Trinity IB 4200s?

the title says black 3800's.. Ib cells are blue.. Per my understanding when a cell is sent in for aproval even if it is an IB cell in diff shrink,. for tech reasons it has to have the correct aproved shrink wrap..

the zebra 3300 cells were gp cells.. but when people tried to run them at roar races they were deemed not legal for tech reasons..

were these cells with this shrink sent in for aproval?? Im not bashing trinity either i just want to know if it is going to be the same as the 3300 cells as far as legality..

Trinity Epic shrinked IB3800 fall under the same legality issues as the IB3800 cell wrapped in blue IB shrink... They are the exact same cell, just different shrink.

I personally like the appearance of the Trinity wrap, but I've heard some people like the generic IB shrink. Doesn't really matter I guess.

I understand they are the same cells.. So were the gp zebra 3300 cells.. but they were not legal because and only because of the shrink wrap.. so i am asking if that is going to be the same issue with these..

No, to the best of my knowledge it is not an issue with this cell.

The Zebra cell came out after the originally GP cell came out and was not approved till the following year. I believe it (Zebra) cell came out at the start of the carpet season as they were not allowed at the Region 5 Oval Regionals at the Hobby Hub but were allowed Jan. 1.

SMC Danny and others hace said they are the same cell and all approval appears to be done as the IB Intellect/ Epic Intellect.

Does not work like that within EFRA. Itīs the shrimp that identify the cells.

You're right the EFRA does't work like that. FYI the Epic3800 is being submitted for approval with that organization as well.
