Default CVDS and weight

Hi all,

My TI cvds are slowly giving up the ghost and displaying rapid wear in my tc4, i have new in a packet the original cvds for the car, they are heavyer by a few grams but they dont have any play or slop, my ti cvds do have a lot of slop, like the wheel turns nearly a quater turn before the transmission moves. So should i limp on with my lighter slopy cvds or put in the heavyer new cvds, will i notice a loss in speed because of the added weight or will i find the car better because it has no slop in the transmission?,

Cheers

You will not notice the difference, the car might actually accelerate better with the new steel ones.

Run what fits and works right. Don't waste your time and money on parts that do nothing but make you have to add weight to your car later.

For a TC3/4 run the original TC3 composite bones. They're cheap ($5.00 for 4) light as a feather, durable as hell and break in a really bad crash. That last part is a GOOD thing, because you'll cry when you have a bent $80.00 set of Ti CVDs. I'd rather break a cheap part then bend a horribly expensive one any day. 'Cause once any Ti or Aluminum part is bent severely...it's trash.
