AND, we are required to run lights LOL..

So I wanted to know if the XB RTR chassis has any cheaper parts than the standard E chassis kit like the Porsche I linked...F
Where are you racing? I think you are in my area.

critters...but I think I am off TT-01 till I see how the whole schedule is gonna pan out...

I have a Pro 4 that runs great....so instead of spending money on tt 01..I will buy a 17.5 motor in the 4 and run tc 17.5....I think he is going to run 17.5 on friday nights anyway...so I will be good to go with a car I can race 2 days a week...

I am looking for an affordable ROAR legal option (under $50) and I am looking for a high capacity 3s for another project with the same car (if I decided on a TT-01)

Ive been slowly upgrading my tt01 for the last 2 years. and have a whole bunch of spare parts i need to get rid of. im currently waiting for my new steering linkages but once i install the new parts ill have a lot of stuff i would like to let go for cheap. I have 3racing=(Front one way, solid rear spool, adjustable suspension set F/R and aluminum front knuckles): Tamiya=(CF upper deck brace, sway bar w/mount F/R, Rear toe-in suspension hubs, aluminum ball bearing steering upgrade and a few other spare/option parts. also have many new spur gears and a few robinson racing pinion gears. cs gears...etc If anyone is interested in any of these parts feel free to pm me. ill be taking pics and posting on the for sale forum once i get all the pieces together for a photo shoot and uploaded to photobucket.

I got lots more so if anyone needs a specific part, i may have it and will let it go for cheap.

anyone have a toyota 86 body they want to let go of for tt01?

I am aware of the lipos on Hobby Partz and Hobby King.

A Proteck 5000mah 35c fits but only when some minor grinding. I don't wanna do ANYTHING. If a pack will drop-in without fuss that is what I want. I don't have time to be fooling around this is not my only interest.

I am assuming most packs around 4000mah will fit without issue, its getting beyond 5000mah. Though its been said any Lipo that fits the Mini chassis will fit the TT-01 without modification.

May I ask what are you running in your car?

Default Screw set

Hi guys. Where can I get a reasonable priced screw set. Something with Hex rather than Philips, preferably on ebay on online store that will send internationally (I'm not in the US). Dont need Titanium , steel is fine. Ive a new car coming & dont want to use the Philips screws.

A couple of other questions
Is the metal motor mount worth it, if running a far too powerfull brushless?? either a 9T or 5.5T (I have a few 9T's spare , so will try the 9T first). I know they dont really help cooling.

Ive bought a new TT01E, is the carbon upper deck any improvement of the E's plastic upper deck/brace ?? Its pretty cheap. Is the 3racing/YeahRacing carbon deck as good as the Tamiya ?

Last weekend I drove my friends TT01 (5.5T brushless) , I couldnt believe how much fun it was, powersliding around the fast sweeper. I had forgotten RC is all about fun. So I bought a TT01E that night
Cheers

I am looking to sell my TT-01 Type E, and I was wondering, how much do these cars go for? How much should I sell my used but in good condition TT-01 Type E for?

My car has an aluminum driveshaft, steering tie-rods, and full ball bearings. The body is the Nissan GT-R body with the Tamiya TLU-01 light kit.

I bought one reasonably equipped for $50. Resale value not so great on these cars. Maybe $100 if you get lucky.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to get more than $50 out of it, but oh well. The resale value is definitely not so good on these cars.

i did hop up on my tt-01.

When i hook up my servo dose not turn well when turning right i am ok but when i turn left i only get about 20% of what i had before. servo works fine when not hook up and the steering assembly also moves freely.
Using right now for servo is FUTABA 3003, Any ideas to try to fix this would be helpful

I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I know some people really liked the mod I did on my USVTA car to get a much better ratio. Well, the sad day has come. Our track here in Metro Detroit closed down last year. After much searching, I just don't have anywhere close to run this car without doing some serious driving. Is anyone interested in taking it off my hands?

Keep in mind this is best offer. If there's something you need or would like to know, you can either search back through the thread... or just ask on here. Glad to see other people still using their TT-01's.
