Larry,

If your still running a plastic tub, the problem you will find is that the 4 mounting points on the motor mount move such that each increment is 1 tooth on 06 module (AV) pinion or 3 teeth on the spur.

64 pitch or even 04 module s going to be tricky to work out what meshes if you have plastic tub .. trial and error.

If you have the 3Racing CF upgrade and sliding motor mount, your'll be ok.
Just calculate using a 2.6 internal ratio.

Cheers

Kevin

Tamiya call it the spur gear stopper. Part number GB2 in the D Manual.

They wear away, and then the spur slops front to rear, and that wears away the tub.

Ok, thanks Will definitely get this part since i'm on a 9.5T brushless now. Anyway I had some good runs recently. I solve the traction roll issue by having a front red short spring (very hard) and white short spring (hard) at rear from my serpent 960. Also loosen the rear ball diff 30mins from tight position and front still maintain fully tight. Track width is still at 175mm and no droop adjustment... i was playing on a smooth cement basketball court and the car handled really well By the way, this is just a temporary solution, getting the arm with droop setting is better.

Pix shows the basketball court turned to makeshift track, the front and rear spring..fitted in just nice.

Are they the E Diff housings? If so, how many shock mount points do the shock towers have?

Larry show us some picture of your spur adapter
I have read that you can use the 52T, and that it allows you to use a 28T pinion in position A - (I presume 29 to 31T also).

But I have never tried it.

those are the Tamiya CF shock towers, Front = 4 slots, Rear = 3 slots (on TRF damper, = 2 slots on M Chasis damper). I m using the M chasis damper as the front CF shocktower sits lower than the original plastic from kit.

The original E chasis plastic shocktower have 3 slots (1 slot at centre for body post) holes on both F & R.

I thought I would post some pics of my TT01: The spur destroyer.
Nothing too fancy except for the fact I had to replace a few screws I needed to replace them straight away. I don't care, it was second hand and its going to be turned into a parts car anyway.
I've upgraded it with a alloy shaft and ball bearings, I race in 27T Stock with this

I have not break any of my 55, 58 or 61 spurs. Your breakage could be due to wrong A,B,C or D motor slot, worn out chasis motor mount slot or worn out motor mount cap.
