TC Aero: Wing Placement

TC Aero: Wing Placement
I wanted to get feedback on how you guys percieve the wing placement on a touring car body, more specifically, for asphalt racing. Acting as a lever, it does have some effect on handling if you change it's mounting position, fore or aft. How many of you use it as a tuning aid? When you mount a new body up, do you start with the wing in the middle position?
Who uses wing supports in the middle of the wing, and who uses side plates added on to the stock wing that is included with the body?
On the Protoform Mazda 6, I noticed a cutout area for what look to be vents for pressure. Has anyone tried cutting/Dremeling them open? If so, how did the body perform differently?
On a side note, how far do you guys cut open the back of the bodies on touring cars? I know that ROAR rules stipulate one thing, but for club racing, doesn't it make a lot of sense to remove the parachute at the back of the car? Also, would vents or pressure holes at the top of the rear bumper area reduce body interior pressure and lift?
Any input from anyone interested would be awesome.

Moving the wing forward generally gives you a little less high speed traction, whereas moving it back generally gives you more. Take a look at the size and position of Marc or Atsushi's wings in pictures of their cars from recent races, small wing, mounted really far back. I tried it, and it feels about the same as a standard size wing mounted further forward, perhaps it has less drag though?

Always mount as far back as possible...why do you think there a rule for it?
Farther back means the airflow over the roof will hit the spoiler as much as possible, thus creating more downforce.

always have extra spoiler mounting hole on body,
Given same car, same setup, forward would make car easy to rotate, while rearward makes car slightly lazy to rotate,
