Will that wireless reach across the pool to the rooms there?

Last year it was close. If you were facing outside the hotel then you didn't have any signal. I always had to go out to the pool area for anything. Hopefully its been upgraded so there are multiple WAPs in place.

I thought that was just Croy's rcresults hub. You couldn't use it to get online.

I don't think there is going to be wireless internet access. We will be setting up a local network to view all the results. I have several airport expresses this year. This should make the access much better.
From what I was told they have wireless internet access at the front of the hotel. I will find out more tomorrow when I go over to setup the network.

i hope they have wireless access. for that kind of dough and in that kind of area (blocks away from convention center) it would only be beneficial for them to have it for their bidnes clients. At the Super 8 in "backwoods" virginia they had a wap on every floor. - and the restaurant next door had one also.. surely any orlando hotel that doesn't go by hourly rates would have wap. It just boggles me.

David, are you going to be running the cam(s) or any media other than the results?

Actually, with the popularuty of Internet Porn, I bet a few of the "hourly" joints have them in place.

Yeah I really want to be at a sausagefest watching porn.

the internet once was devoted to defense research, porn, and gaming. Now you have to pay for all that. what is this world coming to..

Mike will be running live video and audio. I will be doing the results. They are adding wireless to the hotel I just don't know if it has made to the convention center yet.

2006 SNOWBIRD NATIONALS OFFICIAL ONSITE HOBBY SHOP

We have already started setting up the onsite Hobby Shop at the hotel today. The same setup as the previous 4+ years we have been there. We should be setup by noon on Monday for people to pick up items.

Just letting you guys know we are loading up with plenty of items for the week. We will certainly have some hot items that people will be needing so check out the shop ASAP.

We are also having a Club Race at our store on Sunday for anyone that is coming down early and would like to race some asphalt or get some items from the shop. See you next week!!

Hey all..

If anybody is heading to The Birds that might need motor help,I will be there and offering all types of services from complete builds to just zapping.. I will have a neon sign by my room door and a Express Motorsports banner hanging nearby.. Feel free to stop in. I was told I would be on the first floor.

See ya's there...
