NEW XRAY T2
#5642
Hey guys, I need some serious help with my car!!!
Today, out of the blue, The car started having a severe chatter on the inside from wheel when I turn. High speed and low speed.
So if I turn left, the front left wheel chatters, when I turn right, the front right wheel chatters.
I have checked the following but had no luck.
Blades aren’t worn, but I replaced them anyway.
No parts on the steering mechanism is rubbing,
Bearings are good on both wheels and diff.
I tried max Ackerman and minimum Ackerman
I even reduced my dual rate as low as 50% and it still chatters.
What confuses me even more, is that it only happens when the car is on the ground, when the wheels are in the air, nothing seems wrong.
Has anyone encountered this on the T2 before? And if so, how did you fix it.
This is on asphalt with a one-way (Multidiff).

have you checked the cvd-s if they aren't binding or the cvd shafts are bent?
#5644
checked cvd's, they are 100% straight and pins are in the right place.

I proved that this weekend at the KO Grand Prix...
Here is what I would recommend...
GO here...
http://nexusracing.net/newsdesk_info...1fc75e521fcb0c
Nexus Racing not only has great prices on T2 parts but has done all the hard work finding solutions for hard to figure out problems....
If you do the advised procedure you shouldn't have any chatter...
I had full throw and no one chatter all weekend with a spool...
BY THE WAY......
Barry Baker was really fast this weekend.
Had some traffic issues but man I never saw someone make up so much track in such a short period of time....
Barry you make it look so easy...Thanks for the great show..

Yea, Barry's car was fast and he drove well.
I looked at the car really close and it looks awesome. The top deck goes further back and even to just in front of the layshaft. The top deck level is just below the top of the layshaft bearing holder.

I didn't even have 5 seconds...
I just wandered by but I didn't want to be gocking at it...Kind of rude if you ask me...
But I am sure that if I had asked he would have showed it to me....Always been pretty cool to this little ol Sportsman level guy...LOL
By the way Brian, You are getting faster bro..
Chad was insain in his main...Maybe all that MOD driving...LOL
Sean also looked fast.....seemed that you guys are on the verge of breaking through into the big leagues...
Joe always getting better....
Fran.....Killa....If you had more time with the car instead of getting everyone those killa cells...Might have killed em your self...
Larry great tuning this weekend..Plus your car was on it....I don't know how you have time to tune the motors and race...LOL
Alwasy nice seeing all you guys. I had a blast catching up......
T2 was dialed all weekend...
Can not wait till I can run it again..
Take Care and GOD Bless,

chassis flex
I need some help with chassis flex. I raced a week ago with bmi carpet chassis and rubber tires. Chassis was very stiff. Car felt real good and easy to handle. Track was kinda slowed down for me and I wanted more speed. Won the B main so I wasn't real fast or real slow. I have been hearing all over that you want more flex for rubber tires on carpet. So this week I put the stock chassis on and set for lots of flex. I did get .4 faster but was never real comfortable driving the car. Also I did have a different moter so that might have been the .4. Am I headed in the right direction with the flex business? Any suggestions on how to go about getting correct amount of flex?
