Are these brackets the same ones belonging to the Adjustable Upper Deck T1FK'05 - 2.5mm Graphite ?

Yep. They fit the hole pairings along the center slots of the T2 upper deck and are available seperately now using part #301176.

The part# is too new for online shops to even know they exist at the moment. However, you should be able to contact them via phone/email and explain that this is a new part# on the latest XRAY price list. They should be able to contact their distributor for the updated price list and subsequently order them for you.

How much narrower is the revised upper deck? I'm not sure which one I have. I have a 9402 mounted with I believe 3mm shims and the arm just barely grazes the deck. I was planning on filing that area down a bit to give more clearance. The 9402 already sticks out quite a bit. I think I may try moving the link to the other side of the horn as well.

Awesome!! I am glad to hear the plate made a difference for you.
Thanks for the feedback.

Default Teamgp...

When's Xray going to offer diff halfs separate? I just ruined another and I out for a month. I can't take it anymore! Please tell me that Xray will offer a plastic diffs at a much lower cost. I want to be able to buy what I need and not be forced to spend $60 every time I need one diff half.

With the T2R a new diff is comming. This has plastic outdrives which should be cheaper.

Hi all, I'm quite new on the forum. Personnaly, I'm working with a friend on delrin diff outdrives. With them, I will use Tamiya aluminium bones because for me, the issue with Xray bones is the price and the blades. So good bye the blades because I've broken two Xray outdrives because of wear on them loosing blade durinf a run!!
I'm currently using a front spool in delrin with steel outdrives and with Tamiya 46mm steel bones. After a complete month of use with modified motors, no wear on the outdrives! The next evolution on the spool is to make it in aluminium with delrin outdrives. The weght of these spool are lighter comparing to the multidiff:
- multidiff: 15g
- delrin spool with steel outdrives: 14g
- aluminium spool with delrin outdrives: 8g

Here is a pic of the last spool. Keep you informed about the diff outdrives. Conception and fabrication are made by my friend and sponsor, he's doing that on his free time!!

Looks well made, good job. I dont see any mounting holes, how do you attach the belt pully to the spool?

Yes the price of the Xray dog bones is just stupid! And the blade wear is a pain. I know this is a high end race caar. But other brands do not have near the problem or the price. Tamiya bones are $18 for a pair!

The FK05 dogbones are $32 a pair, the T2 dogbone is $21/piece that's just a ridiculous rip-off. They are basically the same...

Yes that's why I use Tamiya bones with Xray axle. Both are compatible, no problem with that!
