What servo are you guys using? I just purchased a used T2 and have a Futaba servo that doesn't seem to fit very well and I am not sure what the part number is on the shims for the servo mounts. If someone could give me the part number of the shims and tell me what servos fit easily and hassle free in the T2 that would be great!

Any type of 3mm shims would do it you dont need expensive xray shims.
The Low Profile Futaba 9550 is a good choice or the Low Profile KoPropo those fit nice but shimming is still needed with the stock servo arm.

I guess this is the reason why they changed the top deck.

How much narrower is the revised upper deck? I'm not sure which one I have. I have a 9402 mounted with I believe 3mm shims and the arm just barely grazes the deck. I was planning on filing that area down a bit to give more clearance. The 9402 already sticks out quite a bit. I think I may try moving the link to the other side of the horn as well.

This is from the Team Xray forum. I was wondering if anyone has these or knows where I can find them. I haven't even seen pics yet, just saw it posted today and would like to get some.

With the First big carpet race up in 1.5 months, I was wondering if any hop ups for carpet had been released? Like thicker chassis or top decks from Xray.
I have 3rd parties but they never work as good as Xray’s own stuff.
In order to stiffen the XRAY upper deck, you can use two aluminum upper deck braces (part#301176) in the two pairs of holes along the decks center.
This part# is new and your LHS/supplier may not be aware of it yet. However, they should be able to have their distributor check the new price list and order them.

I was wondering if an online shop may have them and I could get one faster that way. My LHS usually doesn't carry Xray products so it would be a hassle going through the LHS.
