You could feel the 4 screws in the plate bind when I tried to tighten them down until I enlarged the top plate holes. Tried my first T2 & it was fine. I may have never known this without this product. Art also says that a lot of people just put their car in the plate right after your run & it helps cool the whole car down. Definately will be in my pit box from now on. Thanks Art. R.W.

Need to get the little man a little rubber practice before the first Hurricane race, he's saved up his money and has the entry for Novak. So gonna turn him loose.
I hope Shane wife is ok. Only met him once, seems like a nice guy.

Wierd problem...
I put a Futaba 9550 in my t2 this week. Today I was hot laping and the car was wicked darty and wouldn't trim right. When I wiggled the wheels there was a ton of slop. When I looked real close I noticed the servo arm moving but not the servo it self. The servo rocks back and fourth on the metal gear pretty bad. I have the "F" servo arm on there and man is it sloppy. Anyone else have this? I was thinking of wrapping white teflon tape on the gear to make the fit snug.
Any thoughts?

I have been using the futaba 9550 servo in my t2 since the t2 came out and have never had problems with it centering... Check the screw to see if it is hitting the topdeck and catching causing it to not center very easily.

I had issues with the xray servo horn. The splines are a bit shallow and stripped super easy on me. I couldn't figure out why my car wasn't centering, but it turns out the servo horn was shifting on the servo. I just used an associated horn with deeper splines, flipped the bolt and stering linkage to the other side and all has been good. Not sure if this is your problem, but I thought it might help.

I have had mine strip out also... when it did my servo was off by over 40 clicks on my transmitter so that was fairly obvious that it stripped.
