What do you mean exactly?, You don't need to add weight to make the car handle better. You should just add weight so it is on the limit and use car setup to banlance the handling.

Try the standard rubber on carpet setup with lower roll centers alround. I've tried that with a diff on asphalt and it is a very good starting point.
Hope that helps.
Drew.

you cannot just use the car setup to balance the car. the components installed in the car makes the car's weight different from left to right. use your balancing tool and you will find out

the 4 scale will do your spring preloads more like a tweak board. the balancing tool is to balance the weight of the car from left to right. the first time i did it, i was surprised to see how heavy the left side of the car was. now i have all kinds of weights on the right side to compensate. it's worth it though.

also i forgot to mention that it's always worth it to check the balance again when you change to different mah battery or different wound motor. the weight difference really upsets the car (i.e. 3300 to 4200 is about 3oz difference as i recall it)

No I mean balance the cars handling not the weight either side. I thought that may have been why he was adding weight.

Actually I Mine was balanced with 3800's, Hara Twister 2.1 speedo, KO 302f receiver, Futaba 9402 servo and AMB persona hanging off the servo, stock motor and heatsink on it. However My car is 80g light. So I will be adding the battery brace and a couple of fans to minimize the amount of lead I have to add.
