I just made my preorder and have to give kudos to Steve, I accidently put in 2 orders and sent an email asking to have 1 canceled and at this time of night figured it would be tomorrow before I heard back, instead I had an email from Steve within minutes saying no problem it would be taken care of. This is the first thing I have ordered from Speedtech but wont be the last.
Thanks Steve

Tom

the motor guard might carry over.

It is good to finally see some designs, in the last 6 months, where you can get to the diff with now only having to take apart half the car instead of the whole car. Been waiting for wrencher-friendly designs. If I had a cad/cam milling machine, I might have been a happier touring racer long ago.

With the swiss cheesing of the chassis, if this thing doesn't flex enough for you now i'm sure a t-plate will be in the works.

I hope this time xray doesn't bother to "pre-assemble" the chassis when packaging the kit like they do to the T1 series of cars. What's the point anyway? Unless it's cheaper to put them up that way than to package the parts in plastic bags.

Btw, what's the problem of the current ball links on the T1 cars?

Just specualtion . . .I cant tell from the pics, but it seems one could update their FK05 with the suspension holders from the T2 to create an easier to wrench on FK05.

I was noticing that too. Hope that's the case. Maybe even make some kind of faster "Hybrid" car.

I've never owned a car with the following feature but imagined it would be something XRAY would consider with the self proclaimed title of the luxury touring car. I dont ever like the idea of sanding a perfectly good CF chassis to keep batteries from shorting/cutting. Do the plastic inserts that some car makers use in the battery slots work well? It seems it would be a brilliant solution to the turbulant battery sizes. Rather than sanding more/less on a chassis, XRAY could just manufacture a different size cut out on the inserts. Does this make sense? Why is no one doing this?

I imagine it is to make the changes in shock position inctrementally smaller. The holes are too close together to make them individual holes. This may be due to a cahnge in geometry which ncessitates the closer together hooles. just a guess . .

Just like the BMI towers for the Mi2. You get a lot more adjustment. It's like having a hole halfway between each regular mounting location.
