NEED YOUR HELP. DONT KNOW WHAT TO BUY

Alright I have a tamiya tt-01 (NOW FOR SALE - http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...81#post1955781) that i have been using for about 3 or 4 month as a drift car. Since I have been in rc cars for only a few months I have enjoyed drifting but I am looking for a change and getting a car and setting it up for grip but I’m having trouble deciding what to buy.
The cars I have been looking at are:
Xray T1R
Team Losi XXXS graphite
Xray T1 evo2
And HPI Pro 4

Could you give me your thoughts on these cars. I would like good and bad points about them and any other recommendations

Cheers,
Pat

The T1R is an low level car, but still very good. The Evo2 is older, your better off just buying the FK05 since upgrading the Evo2 would probably cost the same. The Losi is a bit old and are better off getting something else like the JRXS.
The best out of the ones you listed is the Pro4. A great reliable car. The Hara edition is out which costs a bit more, but the original is still a great car out of the box.
So thats my 2 cents, the FK05 for a belt and The Pro4 for a shaft.

Check out your local hobby shops and local race tracks, and buy what is popular and well supported locally.
Not only will you be supporting the local shops, you'll have every part you need right there when you need it, or very close by.
Breaking something and having to wait even a few days for a mail-order part to arrive is very frustrating!

Dont listen to people who suggest you need the latest and greatest, there is nothing stopping you from bolting a set of slicks on your Tamiya and getting out there and having a run :)
