Hopefully sometime after the holidays I will be able to get myself a LiPo and charger so i can run around with those guys. Just don't have the budget to spring for another $200 in stuff you know?

If only TCS allowed lipo...would make it more worth it to me!

Street price on a 3200mAh is about $85.00 some places have had them for less some more.

A charger is only like $45 bucks.

Total: $110.00 and your up and running. That would be about half the average NiMH budget for a Race weekend.

However budgets are budgets and this time of year they tend to be tight.

You're right on that! Of course, sometimes you can't help but to do a little shopping for yourself. I forgot all about the 3200 that came out recently!

Do you know of a good charger that can do both nimh and lipo? If I could find a good one to do both, I could simply replace my current nimh charger and cut the costs even more by selling the old model on ebay.

Nice looking body there. Its nice to see this series picking up speed.

I use this Prolux charger/discharger here in the UK, there is a 110v version but not sure of the trade name in America.
It allows you to charge and/or discharge at a set amperage (4A max on LiPo setting), and it allows you to set the cut off voltage in discharge mode.

I dont think you can do that for the new f103gt. Maybe the old f103 is what you want to make this.

This is what I want tamiya to do. 3racing conversion so that I can use standard tamiya bodies without ruining them!

Default F103gt

Howzit

I have just finished my Courage kit, what a beast, love the big wheels, just like the real Le Mans cars.

I bought a few 3racing hop ups for it at the same time:
Aluminium gearbox housing
teflon pads
aluminium layflat servo plate
aluminium diff housing which i havent installed, bit worried about the extra weight on one side of the driveline

Any suggestions for setup would be greatly appreciated

what do you guys think of the heavy driveshaft? was considering the 3racing titanium shaft and increasing the castor in the front. Any thoughts on what sort of improvement extra castor would make?

Only problem with the upgrades is the servo plate, there is nothing to secure the top plate to, does anyone have any clues as to what I can do?

thanks, will post pics when camera is charged
