Hey Quinny - what software are you using to design the chassis? I'm looking to draw up some chassis's for testing other things too!

Hi, the software I use is Solid Works but I need to send to the machinist DXF files so technically I am able to use a multitude of software with him.
The best is to talk with the machinist to see what type of files he needs and if he his able to source and work on the type of material you need.
Good luck!

Got mine few days ago! Lovely kit to build. Parts have fit exceptionally well! Thumbs up to Spice!

Is anyone running 17.5 in theirs? What is the actual gearing for this beast? Can't wait to test it against my FF04 EVO black edition!

Cheers

the mainly reason its because I want to change the layout configuration like TC style and because I find the stock carbon chassi too wide

Just looking from the pic of your FF.. your Lipo is farther back compare my set up..mine is up the front position...you might get more off power steering but less on power steering...seem to me the lipo in the front generated more front traction,....plus having lipo in the back will make the rear end a little loose around the sweeper...
