I've heard from more then a few people that were at the event that Paulie and Dave J were using 10 turns in the Cobalt 2 teardown. Anyone know this for sure and if so is that new Trinity motor that much motor? Thanks

Bobby are you kidding? Why would you say such a thing.....

Paul lemieux ran the Cobalt 2 (tear-down and motor by True Speed) with the new brushes and compound, as well as Dave Johnson (4th), Ralph Burch (3rd and YOUR BOSS BOBBY), Matt Francis and Billy Easton

All in all....5 out of 10 in the Modified A......I would think it was a pretty good debut for their first race.....

I think all he meant was that the 10 turn that someone was saying those guys were running wouldn't have been as fast as the 7's that everyone else was running.

Bobby...if you want to quit Trinity that is your choice and I wish you the best with DC but I dont think you need to say stuff like this that you know is not true....

I dont think horsepower was your problem at Cleveland....it was just a bad race for you that weekend. Thats all.....

Ernie, I think he was saying that they aren't that fast to make a 10 turn look like a 7......no motor is.....doesn't matter who makes it. I don't think he was saying the motor itself isn't fast.

Paul's stuff was a rocket, as was Ralph's......didn't pay much attention to the others, as I was watching Dumas try to reel in Paulie.........

The new motor performed well....the endbell looks much better with it colored in the gunmetal gray.....the new brushes seems to be pretty bitchin, very little wear on the comm...

Can't wait to get some.....tell dave to put that new brushhood in my shock endbells like we talked about! He thought I was BSing him when I told him!

I didnt mean to imply that the motors were not fast, just that they weren't outrunning the entire field with 10 turns. Sorry it came off that way. The motors ran great for me all weekend, and like you said I just had a bad weekend. Obviously the motors had to have run good to be able to have 5 in the a-main. Again, i'm sorry that is how it came off.

I wanted to thank everyone for the nice words.

I wanted to take a minute and thank all my sponsors.

CRC - the v3.2r is a great car and the Track magnet high roller tires were awesome.

Hurrican Batteries - The IB3800's were great. Sticks like I've never seen before.

Parma/PSE - Bodies & Paint dialed as usual.

KO Propo - the VFS 1 speedo is great in stock.

Genuine Inovations - Great products.

and a Special thanks to Latif and Trinity for all the help with the handout motors. Latif - you can build some huge pull. Good work.

Finally thanks to Ian Ruggles who has done a fantastic job at announcing, and Eli Ezrow for growing your beard.

I had the best weekend at Cleveland ever, after all these years.
