Well, it's baby steps and I'm still working on focused practice and lap by lap consistency. The track layout changed, but I've got a race day and now a practice day on it. I'm now spending my down time watching the faster racers and how they are approaching corners and changing their strategy as they also come to grips with the layout. Very interesting indeed. I've actually discussed the track corner by corner to see what the fastest way around is. Next thing to work on apparently is not slowing down too much for a corner. In other words the car will go faster around the corner if I let it. I'm trying to feel what my A$$ feels in a real car: The point of traction and no traction. NOT easy.
