With race tracks dying because racers are not showing up, you guys are turning away money, I'm really confused.

Steve Dunn
Just like in years past, the primary focus of this race is USVTA/USGT and now F1. These are the three classes eligible for the USVTA National Points series. Jeremy Hardesty started this race to coincide with the Nashville and Chicago races.

Plus, not sure if you've looked at rcsignup lately but we're filling up extremely fast. We had 40 racers last year and we're already up to 56 with over a week to go. It's not a matter of turning away money, it's about everyone having a little elbow room and getting out of there at a decent time.

I'm sorry we couldn't add the class this year. We are more than willing to have another trophy race at a later date and include mod classes though.

Not every race can have every class....only offroad can do that and pull it off.

Honestly this race like every other race has its class structure based on what the host track sees fit for that type of event. Not everyone will be happy with classes added or not added. My only complaint is that its not a week earlier like last year but oh well....still going. On the flip side its awesome to see that 35 guys have signed up for USGT and 32 for VTA so far....they both have more entries right now then whats listed for the ROAR Nats the weekend after this race...this is awesome for a "Scale/funster" event. This race is going to be great for the classes that will be offered I cant wait to have fun weekend of racing.

Meet in the middle and offer Mod VTA. I'd run it.

I was going to say 17.5 1/12... Or could make a mandatory pit stop, change from 13.5 to 17.5.... Or mod f1 :tire

On a side note really looking forward to this event reguardless of the classes!!

One other thing , No hat trick? I don't see you signed up for 17.5? You are not cool unless you get the triple crown!
Well even if he does he will still not be cool lol

I would bet for every person asking for classes to be added that doesn't have a VTA OR USGT car knows someone who would let them borrow one (or could afford to setup one of their own).

I would really enjoy watching some of the fast 1/12 and 17.5 TC drivers racing in VTA or USGT.

I agree. Just come lay the smack down on us and show us how the big boys roll.

One of my favorite races I remember watching was when EA ran VTA at the Southern Nationals a few years ago.

He's already got one in his VTA car. Haven't you seen how fast his car is!?!?! (Joking about the motor, but not about his cars speed. )

I just looked at RCSignup and there is almost 40 USGT cars signed up!!! This is the most USGT cars at a race I have ever seen. Plus 35 USVTA so far. I love it! Man next week can't come fast enough. If you are thinking about coming you definitely should. It's going a great racing weekend!
