Trinity Cobalt 10t double setup for 1/12scale road course racing
I have a Trinity Colbalt Flatwire 10t Double and I plan to use it for 1/12th Modified road course racing can anyone tell me how to set this motor up for IB 3800's batteries
What gearing with a 100 spur on a med sized med/high bite carpet ozite track
what timing shoud I use and what springs
and what brushes should I use
my tire sizes or 1.72 front and 1.88 rear
any help would be greatly appreciated

Well, first thing I would do is narrow the brushes to standard size, or as close as you can get them. I would run about 18 deg of timing and gear it about 28/100 with around a 1.80" tire.
I would run the crosscut 99 brush and with the 1.88" tire I would gear down a tooth to 27/100. Perhaps a tooth or two lower since it is a double flatwire. Hang on, it should rip.
