They kept it at 43mm.....but allowed a tolerance on the cells after charging/cycling, etc......up 1 mm....

I however, have never seen an uncycled IP cell under 43mm......GP and IB stuff are 43mm or smaller before cycled.....and once they are processed some get up to 43.5.....the IP stuff raw is like 43.5 or so.....they don't increase as much in size with cycling though......

Cycling=matching process.....

... why should a cell that didn't meet the rules be ROAR legal "since the beginning"? Looks to me like they had to fudge the rules to make it legal

I also dont get this low runtime stuff.. all the ib;s i see are 460-480 for runtime at 30 amps.. I personally know one of the mathcers doing IP's he told me his cut off is 470 seconds.. under that he wont sell as race packs.. Ive also heard 500+ at 30 amps is being seen alot as well. so where is the low runtime??

The lower runtime cells were the first version....The newest batch is really good from what I have heard....Ive seen cells of 500-510 at 30 amps....1.20+voltage and 1.6 IR's. Sounds pretty good to me but I havent matched any or run any.

Calm down burbs... you oval guys are SO touchy
I was merely commenting on the post that said the IP's should have been approved "since the beginning" well they didn't meet the length rule at that time so they shouldn't have been legal... but now that they .... ahhh... adjusted the rules a little so they are legal all is well with the world.
If or when EA tells me they are better than IB's I will have no problems buying IP's
