Does anyone have a picture of the "Tech Racing ring gear plate" they could post?

What material is it made of?

How thick is it?

TRF we are not at Jun levels by any means but Tamiya is helping yes. And we are all appreciative of it and hope we can represent their products well in the respective markets. And also encourage other people to at least try the cars.
I will give my transmitter to anyone who asks how the car is and if they can feel how it drives. Sometimes even if not asked

Dan,
that's a great attitude, I hope it will remain even if you guys will get to D. Juns level.
So, can I drive your car when I see you? :-)

Sure not a problem.

I have seen and heard others when they turn factory they also become demi-gods and I think that is wrong.
I met Cyrul in December and he let just about everyone at the track drive his car including the newbies, one of them impaling the wall with his car there was alot to rebuild.

Say hello next time I'm down, Reedy for sure Tamiya Nats(for support of our locals and help out Fred) and also hope to be down for a fun run at TA also.

Dan

Importing overseas products ... sometime are not cost effective...
Parts end up costing more when sold in the US.
I'd like to get one of those square transponder/servo mounts as well for my TC3 and the upcoming Pro4

I wouldn't think that it would cost more than 18$ tops.!! ..

It's made with 4045 T-6 aluminum and it's about 2mm thick

I hope you have fun with your new toy!

1. It is best to use thin CA. I found that using the thick wont give you that smooth, clear glossy look that thin CA does.

2. I would just smooth out the edges so that the sharp carbon wont slice through the shrink wrap on the cells. Make sure you CA the battery slots really good to prevent shorts.

3. Take your time and have fun building

Good Luck!
