Anyone using the evo iv standoffs (the plastic ones) on there evoiii, they replace the big pastic bit and are smaller. They come with the clear gear covers, dunno if they coem in black. I wonder because there smaller and the batteries could short out on the shaft if they move too close and the standoffs will protect it.

Just wondering, can this car handle mod motors? on rubber , high bite asphalt. Also I heard that this car performs very poorly on carpet foams, is this true? thanks, i just got this car!

I run mine of carpet with foam tires, its fine and if I could make it go faster with better equipment etc it would be just as capable as the other cars and has won the A main at our club so I dont see why not. As for mod motors, a belt would be better as most are for mod but it should be okay witha mod motor.

Yeah but crow, u run silver can right? have you run like 19t, mod before? its way different, you notice things about whats good/bad with your car. a local friend racer (7years) said that it wasnt much of a car for foam. he had three tb evo 3's. But crow unless you have tried tried those kinds of motors, please give my a PMabout setup info on foam mod/ 19t thanks.
