Just drill enough to remove the head leaving as much of the shank as possible behind so you can unsrew the rest with pliers

Anyone had a problem with the steering turnbuckle from the servo saver rubbing the shaft on when on full steer. When I go full to the right the turnbuckle rubs the red shaft and has made a large groove in it, anyway to solve it, move 1 hole to the right on the servo saver?

I replaced it but after moveign it the wrong side and made the shaft rub even more makign shards go everywhere, shouldnt be too bad. Would be weaker but no decrease in performance. You could change if you want to the lightweight shaft.

I already have the lightweight shaft thats why i was wondering if it was weakened enough that it had to be replaced. does anyone know if the team bomber shafts for the EvoIII are still around or where to get them or if not where there some other aftermarket ones????

I guess I'll tear mines down and clean it up today too........I haven't done it since I bought it. Then again, I haven't really race it hard yet either.

thats cool.. I think white and blue are the go or i am going to try white and white on my asphalt track.. yellows seem far too soft but go for it if that wat suits you....

i use my evo3sl outdoor on asphalt i use 35sh foam and find that associated silver front (14.50) with tamiya yellow rear (13.33) works well. also worth a try is blue all round this works on my 415. has anyone here got evo4 suspension on their evo3? and is it really possible to stop stripping gears by shimming?

If you smack something head on at full tilt with a mod car... nothing will stand up to the pressure off that.. but for minor bumps and for general wear and tear shimming can make a difference. My car hasnt needed it uet.. my brothers car needs it and we both run similar speed and not too much stripping.. the fat gears and the carbon plate and the long shaft do wonders as well.
