I finally got my set installed on my Evo - but I haven't run it yet, will do that this weekend...

I've been looking for opinions too but haven't been hearing much

Default lw centre shaft

Hi
Has anyone noticed the input gear in the front diff has a small amount of runout???.

Mine has a slight tightspot each revolution of the centre shaft.

I have just fitted the xenon hard onewaygear and tamiya lightweight centre shaft and no matter what i do it still does it.

Its not too bad if I remove the shim but i want it perfect

Can anyone help

The LW shaft is 2mm longer so you need to re-shim it or remove all the shims. also check if the bevel gear is damaged.

loopedeloop, even though the gear was new check for bits of manufactoring or extra plastic on the gear. usually if mine does that ive realised ive chipped a bit of the one way gear and yes shimming does make a difference maybe try a thinner shim or shim it away from the bevel gear
