Hey Guys! I haven't been on this thread in a while and was wondering if any one got one of those aluminum front one way gears from Japan. Any one know where I can get one?
I remember 2 for sale for around 25$ but shipping was around the same.
Thanks!

Bigdog,

I have been ordering parts from Rainbow Ten in Japan. Many of the parts that I have ordered have come out cheaper than anywhere else I have ordered them from even with the shipping.

http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html

almost every part that has been out of stock here I have gotten from them.

The exchange rate is approx. 1 Cent to each yen.

Hi Guys,

We have the EVOIII spools in stock. These are made out of steel so they won't notch in the outdrives like aluminum ones. We also have an aftermarket front one-way gear coming in from Japan. It's a much better material than the stock Tamiya one, and it cost right around $4 USD

From 2 Sources. One of them is in the RCMX website in Japan. The other source is from my LHS also confirms that they are accepting order of EVO 4 for June or July.

Maybe Tamiya is trying to decide which car to use for the IFMAR later this year.

Steve, good spool news with the Reedy just around the corner!

Who is the manufacturer of the new one-way gears?

Thanks,

JC

Xenon makes an onewaygear for the EVO3. I donīt know if itīs the one Speedtech is selling now but I heard the Xenon gear isnīt stronger than the one from Tamiya. But thatīs only what I heard canīt confirm as I donīt have one.
