If you are interested in a oneway please send me a PM. I will direct you to that guy.
You can only buy this oneway from the guy who makes them. Heīs from Germany but he ships international too.
the email address at the bottom of the test page goes right to the correct email address to inquire about the oneway though

Default asphalt setup

guys, i've looked high and low on this thread for a bit now and i cannot find an asphalt setup anywhere. i know i've seen one, but i can't seem to find it. can anyone suggest a good setup? it's about time to start racing at speedworld again and i've misplaced my setup sheet from last year. i've been setup for carpet since it started raining

I'll give ya mine, but its a normal evo3...dont know if that'll affect it too much....

front: front DIFF! copper springs, yellow sway, 50wt oil, top shock way out, camber-1, zero toe, AA blocks flat. top inner camber link. 2mm spacers inside wheels.

rear: blue springs, yellow sway, 50wt oil, top shock way out, camber -1, AB blocks flat. top inner camber link. 2mm spacers inside wheels.

Geared 72/25 on monster stock motor.(good for my track)

I run on blown, but mostly untreated bumpy asphalt. Setup is for 24mm sorex 32R tires with med. inserts, But will work just as good with Soft medial Pro 26mm preglued wheels. Havent tried much else other than HPI 33R's but they just didnt cut it.

Used my evo 3 last night with the new propshaft and all new gears, threw it on the track and ran a few packs through it and its the best it has ever been, it now spins forever and has no tightspots at all in the transmission, its AWESOME. Rick

Which of the new shafts did you test? The Tamiya lightweight or the one from Team Bomber?

tony q.. pick up the tamiya lightweight shaft.. its 2mm longer.. holds the front bevel gear much better. with the penguin backing plate, proper shimming.. stripping should be reduced to a minimum.

i installed the shaft on mine.. it looks good. gotta test it at la mirada.

I ran the Tamiya lightweight one, the car was 100% better than it had ever been before, span so free.

Also you can only get new oneway gears not normal diff gears. Rick

Rick, youve made me the happiest man alive LOL, i should have a few new tamiya lightweights sometime this week. with that in my car , aliminium gearbox's and ceramic diffs i cant wait!! also got the original evo3 Kai chassis im going to install. Its looking great, lots of shock positions but one great thing i like about it is that its got a 2 piece topdeck. you can take the end where the sput is off to make spur changeing easy, will post pics when its done later this week. Sold my 3 piece which i was loving , and if its better im so exited.
I made a good move yeah? getting rid of the 3 piece for a few new tamiya lightweight?
