Default One Way Gear

Hi Guys! A word of caution. Don't overtighten the four screws on the one way diff gear because it will cause the gear to warp and also result in stripped gears. The way to go is to just tighten it about a quarter of a turn or so more after first handtightening it. Just be sure you put threadlocker. Enjoy!!!

Default yeah what he said!

You are correct Sir!I posted that earlier and I totally agree...The gear box tolerances have to be very exact and a warped gear will cause one spot to be hi while the other areas of the gear low which has caused failure of one of my gears.

Anybody know where I can get one of these?

Was hoping to get one in the next couple of weeks for the TCS race that is coming up out here. Checked with Speedtech but I guess I missed the boat on his order.

Anywhere else?

Thanks.

You can try Andy at http://hobbymania.com.hk
He had some last time I checked. Tell him Steven King sent you and he might give you a better deal. His list price is $280.00 USD plus $25US 4 Day express Shipping.
His email is acolam74@yahoo.com
If you have trouble with the hobbymania link just above then just type the address into your browser and you should get there OK

Good luck
Steevo

If you're getting one, better get it soon! heheh.. I've heard rumors that Tamiya has sent out it's last batch. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, because I have friends with plans to buy some, but don't have the money quite yet. I got mines from Peter Sik from Southern California. his e-mail is SerpentVector@ezrctech.com E-mail him soon. He owns a shop in Hong Kong, and ships them direct. He sells them for 320 shipped, and you should get it by the end of the month if you tell him soon enough. I know he's recieving his batch of Evo3s on the 24th, and will be shipping direct once he gets them. so drop him an email. I can't wait to get mines!
