Rod, I think a new stronger gear will help, but not fix the problem. In other words, it may not strip every run, but it still won't be as strong as say a TC3 drivetrain as long as there is an issue with the pinion not staying in place on the shaft.

I know, it may not completely solve the problem 100% but atleast it gives me more comfort knowing that they do know about it and have been looking for a solution.

On another note, I am building a "TB-Evolution 3.5 Version 2B Blue Edition J-Spec" with all the goodies I picked up. It looks sweet so far but we all know how pretty looking cars preform hehe.

Elephant,
I have found most hobby shops do not carry parts for Tamiya cars. The Best way I have found to get parts is directly from Tamiya. 1-800-TAMIYA-A (1-800-826-4922).

That is awesome news Rod! I can't wait for the new gears to come out. When do you think it'll come out?

I don't know when they'll be out and maybe they might be a running change. I'm not sure.

Sort of off topic, here's a cool pic of the funny man himself:

Any pics of your "TB-Evolution 3.5 Version 2B Blue Edition J-Spec"

I am presently working on my "TB EvoIII Surikarn Limited/ Steevo Edition" packed with Tech Racing and Square goodies.
Going to mill the chassis, Top Deck and Battery holder myself this week as well.

Just trying to get my hands on the Square Titanium Gear Boxes at the moment which I am having a little trouble getting.

I think they are aluminum, but comes in blue, red and titanium color. I just got mine but it's blue--I'd rather have the red one to match the other red parts.

Hey Steevo, ask and you shall receive. It's still a work in progress and should have it done soon. Also, I was thinking of getting one of those milled chassis when I was in Jland but after seeing them in person, I'll stick with the Tamiya 3mm ones. They're much nicer.
