The track is fairly big with looooong straights. The main competition is running a monster stock........So should I try one of those motors since its not a tight track?

Yes, get a monster stock motor...if you can, get a fantom or putnam tuned monster stock.

Default Monster stock gearing question

I race my evo 3 sl on a indoor carpet track which covers a entire basketball court. I need a gear ratio of around 7.5

Is there much difference between 96/33 (7.56) and 90/31 (7.54)?

chen

this link for track

jiggen
regarding gear ratio you won´t feel any difference at the track but maybe regarding weight distribution left/right as the motor is a little more moved toward the right side with 96/33
