Default Chassis balancing II

I've got my Surikarn complete now and would like to go and drive it tomorrow, but I'm concerned about the weight balance with the battery pack.

I bought 70 gramms of weight to balance it, but it is still about 70 gramms short
I couldn't find any wheel weights - which someone suggested.

How do you guys compensate for the weight of the batteries?

Cheers, Mark.

Hey guys

had an interesting race night last night. FIrst 2 races were perfect, had the car dialled. However, in the 3rd race, I don't know how, must have hit something, the front right section on the car, practically imploded.

After inspection, I pulled the kingpin out of the steering knuckle (this I can handle), but I managed to smash the White Surikan Outdrive in half (on one side)

I'm only running Johhno 540 class and was surprised at the amount of damage. (I also wrote off that wheel)

anyone had a similar problem? just trying to recreate what happened? No complaint to quality, was running perfect the race before, just curious as to the amount of damage.

matt

There is no complete Ti-screw set from Tamiya for the evo 3 that is sold. But the Yokomo Ti-screwset for the SD is a perfect fit and only costs 35$.
