with the release of the TB-02's optional parts. does anyone think the centre SSG stiffener will fit on the Evo III?

i have tried it Tech Racing's chassis with their centre stiffener and found it to be very stiff. perfect for carpet. although the chassis is designed with a shorter wheel base.

besides using MR-S of the Audi TT.
can't seem to find any other shells that will fit this design.

any ideas?

have a red Square aluminum upper deck holders if anyone is interested.

please don't reply here. leave a PM

Thanks!

Yesterday we had the 1st round of our national 21T Super Stock Championship and I've done pretty good. I actually finished 2nd after a TC3

Some questions .... please

- Are Acer Ceramic bearings good for the TB EVO3 SE?
- Is there a lighter main drive shaft, maybe graphite that fits?
- My drivetrain is already pretty free, how can it be improved?
- Does the QUANTUM WORLDS OPTION KIT really improves acceleration to the LRP Quantum speed controller?

Thanks a lot for your help

Talking Finished build of Surikarn

Hi Guys,

Got my Surikarn build finished - just need to get a servo, ESC and some batteries and I'll be ready for action :-)

The build went really well, the only problem I encountered was the building of the shocks - not so much the shocks themselves, simply when I tried to set the spring pre-tension to what the manual said (2mm and 3mm, I think), the springs were still loose!!! I ended up screwing the ball joint adapters in too far and the shock rods were starting to come out of the ends I screwed them back, and they seem ok - but I'm a bit confused what I did wrong, in that I have to set the pre-tension to 3.5mm before it hits the spring

Anyway, here's a pic of the Surikarn in its "finished" state. It's had a quick setup on the Hudy board to make sure the suspension is ok.

Cheers, Mark.

I was, too, of the opinion that only cool people have these cars

Mine only looks so clean because I haven't driven it yet

I'm still undecided whether to go for a Quantum Competition ESC or not - I want to run in the Euro-Cup (if I get everything ready in time) and therefore I'm only going to run a 17T Motor.

I'm still looking for a servo, too. Fav. ist def. the Futaba S9550 - any other suggestions?

Cheers, Mark.

the Futaba S9550 is a really good servo. Im also using one in my EVO3. Because of its small size you have more room for the other electronics.

Exactly! Where can you buy them cheap in Germany?

Mark-The preloads are for setting ride height. Don't worry about what the book says for this. Get a ride height gage and use them to set your ride height. 4-5mm is a good start for any surface.
