Racenut- yes most of us have had your problems. There is a temporary solution to the pinion gear stripping internally- replace the driveshaft. If you look, the flat spot on the front of your driveshaft is probably rounded and no longer has a sharp edge where it bites into the pinion gear. This allows it to slip forward and strip the gear.

If you look back you will see where Randman did a conversion to TC3 ring gears and says it helped his car a ton.

Hopefully, in the next week or so there will be an even better fix for the car. I have an engineer buddy working on it now. Keep your fingers crossed...

Does anyone have a picture or can tell us what the Blue Conversion Kit consists of that has been released by Tamiya?

Its part number T49335 but I couldn't find any information anywhere.

I'm interested to see this Tech Racing 3 piece driveshaft... Does it have the main shaft floating?

I know someone using it...
seems really help solving the problem of the oneway gear...
But I haven't bought it since quite expensive.. and red in color...
I only have 2 one way gear meshed in the past 6 months.. so I m not think of it...
