BUT not without it. In fact...it accelarate much faster at the straight and NO noisy gear mesh problem at the corner (usually it does with the orig evo3 gear).

ok...thats my 5 cents. no harm done..happy racing. peace to all.
jfc_tech,

I know this is not in line with what's being discussed....how do you adjust the setting of the LRP Quantum? How do I use the map?

Thanks in advance.

Getting the rear end to roll more really ruined it, it was loose as heck on that tiny track... There were a couple sportsman drivers in the pack, and since my car wasn't hooked up I was back driving with them. One guy kept taking me out, landed upside down and got plowed, tweaked the heck out of the car but I kept goin. Cought back up to the sportsman drivers within a couple laps, but they are basically impossible to get around without getting taken out. The car got basically undriviable it was so tweaked, and I heard the gear start to go so I just pulled off before the A$$ hole cost me any more parts.

Does anyone have an address for Tamiya? I'm trying to get driving directions from Mapquest, but the address "2 Orion" that they list on their website isn't valid... Gonna head up there sometime this week, or on my way to SoCal next week.

Thanks Charlie

Ron - I've got the gear on, but it slid over too far and the mesh was too tight. I dont have any good phillips drivers, so all 4 screws on the 1 way are stripped, looks like I'll have to dremel them off and get another carbon plate.

Default Servo Saver

Just wondering, when I got my Evo (not Surikan edition) the white servo saver in it was absolute crap, it had about 2mm slop either way. I see that they haven't changed the servo saver on the surikan, anyone finding the same thing? I've just grabbed one of there new black ones to put in when my 3pk arrives but until then...

All the Tamiya cars have the same problem... I don't even use a saver now. I have tried 4-5 pcs from the Tamiya.. but still crap...

A real good replacement is the medium size Kimborough KB201.
