is it the same shaft as the evolution and the 01 i have a graphite shaft just waiting for it

I don't really know the answer for this one. But I just skim through the page that talk about this car and some picture of how to change the Spur Gear. I think the Shaft is aluminium on this one.

Use the aluminum shaft. The graphite shaft is pretty useless. It will delaminate within a few runs, especially with mod.

anyone got an idea on pricing?
I'm guessing around $250-300 US mark?

they look very nice.. and i think it might be time to upgrade my ta-04R.

It will sell in Japan for $380 USD. by the time it gets to the US..it will probably sell well over $400.00 USD.
Probably cheaper to order one from Japan...shipping is around $20-40 priority/insured.

It will be released in Japan early Dec. probably won't hit the US 'til Jan.

HI, does anyone know if this car comes with rubber seal bearings like the original evo or just normal metal shielded ones?

Cool car, just wish they would have stuck with the original electronics layout...opposite the TC3...

Seen Surikarn and Muira running the evo III earlier this week in Japan. He was using the tamiya 23t RR motor w/ Tamiya's 3300hv stick pack. I don't know the ratio that he was running. But let me tell you this thing is faaast. I can't wait till it comes out.
