Hey Rick, Thanks for the prop. I also want to saythanks for passing my name along over there in the UK.

Also thanks go out to Difuser and Peter for helping me test these damn things. And to Kevin for donating his driveline to the testing cause.

Also I thought Salt Lake TCS was this weekend. Not Maryland.

Intel take it easy it happened to be a poke at Rod whom I consider to be a close friend even though I am up here in Seattle.

Not everyone is here to degrade people it is a fun toy car hobby and alot of us travel and know each other here

It showed in the results oops. You'll have to find Rod an IV bag for him to drag onto the drivers stand in September.
Just watch out fot Tom Wright the Canadian he tried to keep me up way too lae and get me drunk before quals on Sat

Rockstar is a favorite up here and the 16oz can is guaranteed to prevent any 5 min coma from happening

I know this is the Evo3 forum, but here's a good cold weather tire setup for the F201. Run the car without any inserts. I remember Neil worrying about what to do with his only good set of Tamiya A's the day before. And I told him an idea Tom Kahl and I were working on. Well, Neil's gamble paid off with a TQ. I need a new Evo.

Default TB EVO III SQUARE ALUM. GEAR CASE

HAS ANYONE TRIED THE ALUM. GEAR CASE FROM SQUARE?

ANY COMMENTS? DOES IT HELP TO THE PRBLEM OF ONEWAY GEAR STRIP.

I HAVE THE SURIKARN EDITION WITH THE GRAPHITE PIECE ATTACHED TO THE GEAR. STILL THE STRIPPING GEARS.

John, Peter Robinson on the board here has them they are absolutely gorgeous. It does not help on the stripping of the gears Pete still went through a few on spools down at Reedy. I don't think he has lunched any since back on the 1-way but neither have I with the standard boxes.
I am also shim the boxes to help keep mesh absolutely perfect and shim a touch on the tight side and let the gear run themselves in.

Hope it helps

i get the impression that the new S-EVO3 must not be any faster that the orignal, because i've asked a few times how it preforms compared to the blue version, all i get is that it looks fast and pretty. can someone pleasssse enlighten me! i'm sure a few of you guys must have run it by now.
in oppion the blue looks way better.

How good is the EvoS? Results don't lie...usually :P

Top Qualifier for PRO STOCK SEDAN:
TAKA with 27/5:10.66

-- PRO STOCK SEDAN - A MAIN --
pos Car Laps time name
1 3 27 5:07.68 TAKA (Evo3 Surikarn)
2 5 26 5:03.18 SHIN IINO (Evo 3 Surikarn)
3 0 26 5:05.87 CARL FELTRO (?)
4 4 26 5:08.11 ROD C (Evo 3 Standard)
5 8 25 5:01.88 TORRANCE DEGUZMAN (TC3)
6 1 24 5:00.11 RON SCHUUR (Evo 3 Standard)

The EvoS has more flexibilty in upper inner camber link positioning thereby allowing for more setup options. Taka's car was so good that all we could do was fight for second place.
