hey guys, do you ALL use 24mm wheels with 24mm tires?

mostly dish wheels? what type? how about spoked wheels?
tires? inserts?
just curious.

well, for my evo3, so far I found hpi 24mm 5spokes with 24mm CS32 takeoff tires and yellow inserts to work really well during night time racing on prepped bumpy asphalt. HPI 33r's dont work so well for me... they got all these cracks everywhere after a run or two. :P

Default UK racing

For those in the UK that race an EVO III you may be interested to know that an EVO III driven by myself took the win at the Torc series round 3 at Ashby racing in the 27t stock class after setting FTD.

This is my second win in the Torc series after winning the opening round at Stafford, was unlucky at round two though after making 2nd for the finals i retired with interferance and ended up in 10th position.

Aluma I tried the Losi Lexus last weekend and Pete was using the Alpha (their spelling not mine)
Both of us came back to the Stratus he ran the orig with 2.0 headlights I was using the 2.0
Funny how the old body looks like the new one with the different headlights.
Love the body Rick so are you going to Japan this year to drive instead of pit.

Hey Aluma.. I luv my Stratus 2.0, but have also tried the crowd pleaser. Needed a little more downforce, so I put a Yokomo High Downforce wing in the back, and it ran just as good as my stratus bodies. Surprisingly, my favorite body until now, is still the TC3 RTR stratus body. Paint scheme gets old quick, but it handles so well.=)

wow, you mean they sell that without holes? or do you just add the correct holes for the evo3? thanks y'all for the info... hey, just saw protoform website and they have a NEW alfa 2.0! with 4 rear winglets... kinda looks like losi's wing. wonder how that'll work?

aaah.. the science of aerodynamics, hard at work, while we play=).. whoever said after hischool, you ain't gonna need most the science stuff u ever learned=P.. heheh. Actually, I just used the body from my old TC3 RTR. So yea, ran new holes. I'm still wondering if Tamiya will ever make a Roar legal sedan body that will run the freezies out of protoform and losi. I know they got the technology and brains to, just a question on if they plan on following the performance oriented route w/ a performance oriented body. Can you imagine "Satoshi, jun, and surikarn wins 2004 Reedy Race of champions running Tamiya TB Evo 4s, and the new Tamiya racing citreon sedan body." lol.. I dunno.. watever body.. Just not a stratus. I don't think there's ever a new way to make a stratus.. Unless like some Tamiya bodies, it will have a racing style aero front fascia and side skirts? ewww... hahah..

Not doing the Reedy race as i only race in the 27t stock class but i hope to be going up and watching the finals. Looking to enter the KO Grand Prix if there are places left in the super stock class as i fancy a play with these 19t motors.
