right now the spools are not technically for sale. the final prototypes will be run at the reedy race by the tamiya team, but these are just prototypes. the spools will go up for sale to the public some time later, and you have to remeber that right now, this is just one guy making these spools and other parts, not a big company, so there is probably a slim chance the he will be able to take your cerdit card right away.

Default Suspension mounts

To all TB-EVO III owners,

Could one of you kindly tell me how many of each type of the A, B, C and D suspension mounts are included in the kit and where each type is mounted? I want to get a set to use on my 414m.

Cheers.

as a revision to my post before...

the machinist making the spools for the EVO, will have them available first at the Reedy Race of Champions this coming weekend in southern cali. they will be available to those have have requested them already (to reserve a spool for the reedy race, and reedy race only, contact difuser by Personal Message)

the heat treated steel version will be $15 at the track.

and the aluminum version will be $20 at the track.

after the reedy race, he is going to work on producing more spools for sale to the general public, and it will be at that time that you can contact him, and arrange for them to be sent to you, if you so choose.

For all who have had to endure the taunts of the 1-way issue I personally got to witness a Yokomo lunch one of it's 1-way gears this weekend whilst racing.
We gave the driver a good ribbing over it and suggested he start calling Yok to ask when they are going to have a fix how it must be a major issue.......
We also brought up the fact that with the quality of Tamiya they at least included spares to fix the 1-way in case of issue unlike his Yok.

All jests aside the car looked good just not sorted at it was the cars first run.

See you all at Reedy this weekend.

Hey peter

Those aluminum diff cases look sweet. One question is How much do they weigh in comparison to the stock plastic cases?
