Hey Peter,

If you're referring to Troy... Yup, he was there alright! Cool guy, talked to him for quite a while... btw, I was the one handling Concours R/C, hope he liked how we displayed his cars... =)

Hi you all,

My bumper (foam) cracked the second time out.
Is there another Tamiya bumper which fits and is a little stronger.

Thanks,
Pizza

Default Bumper, Shmumper....Latest Setup

As with most parts for the Evo3, the bumper is relatively inexpensive. Buy another and 'forget about it'. Have any of you noticed that the spare parts pricing on Evo3 parts are slightly lower than other Tamiya cars in recent history. Good stuff to begin with and not that expensive to keep your car "fresh"

Sorry, I don't have a part number for blue ball bearings. They are very nice and live up the legendary "Tamiya Blue Bearing" status.

Also, here's the latest setup for my Evo3 at Socal Raceway. It is one of the fastest cars out there and we had a blast racing last night with no more than 20 feet seperating the 3-4 car leaders. Good fun. One more thing, this setup should give you a car that is moderatly difficult to drive Just wanted to share it with all of you.

Rtypec,

Is that the correct pinion/spur that your running at Socal, how big is that track? We have an indoor carpet track that is about 90 feet long and my gearing is usually around a 100/33 for a 19t.

Thanks,
Steve

Yup, I gear the snot of of my 19T's. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of the track are but I did attach a picture of the track (with a typical layout). According to the some people, the distance between the poles is 20 feet so you can try to figure it out on your own.
