Yes, I think it is JM, come bring it! I need to get more one way gears so I'll swing by there and will find out for sure. Did you get my email with the special attachment

Dude, my car went to complete kaa-kaa yesterday night. It went from dialed to wild. I don't know if it's this latest batch of hurting Sorex tires or if somethings wrong with my car. In any event, I'll play with Pit tires until the Sorex's get squared away.

My 19T has reached critical comm size. I think it's done. Even when I was running MOAB's during my main, I was getting yarded on the straight and left in the corners WTF is up wit dat? haha I know that sometimes my car isn't the best in the corners but it's always yanks when it comes to putting power to the ground. Bah, nothing money can't fix...another Reedy 19T to retire lol.

Evo3's needs some TLC and is gonna get rebuilt with new plastic parts from the ground up in preperation for the reedy race.

See ya Saturday

thats funny, I thought it was only me... my sorex's bit and so did the hpi 33r's... so i got some TakeOFF 32Rs (4pack no inserts) and they are great!

but, i'm going throughem rather fast...theres lots of little cracks on the edges. guess the insert is too soft.

Yes the Evo really needs TLC!!! I read stories to mine every night LOL. If you remember the last time we were practicing, well anyway after the prac... the 2 qualifiers i was running with a stripped rear diff gear haha. I dont know how the hell I made it to the A. But hopefully we get things together @ Reedy. See you there. Socal Nitro girls!!! haha. Spin em like a ball bearing.

Oh by the way send it to flipshock@yahoo.com

Intresting point about Sorex tires as of late. Has anybody else had problems with scrubbing in a new set of Sorex tires? I'm talking about tires that have been purchased and mounted within the last two weeks? Typically, I'd drive around 3/4 pace for about two to three minutes and they'd come in and be so dialed! I put them away and save them for the qualifiers and mains. My last two sets (all purchased within the last two weeks) have been complete and utter crap Anybody else having problems?

Aluma, I also go through tires really fast. I've tried going with different setups but I always gone back to the tire-eater setup because it's quickest. I guess speed costs money sometimes

OMG JM haha spin em like ball bearings! I saw a couple yesterday that would look good doing that trick.

i've emailed Tamiya and the customer service rep said that the TB Evo III Surikarn version will be arrive to the states in about 1-2 months.

maybe at the same time, optional parts as well?

hope this is true

A friend of mine just bought the original Evo III.

We've heard there've been some issues with, but we are not sure about what it is. Somthing with the spur / one way diff, during hard impacts? I know it's somewhere in this thread, but honestly, the amounts of topic are overhelming.

So can someone please clarify this?

hi cole!
the issue is:
when there is hard impact,
the FRONT ONE WAY GEAR(the gear attached to the Front one way)will have tendency to STRIP.
bad design/bad material.
to solve this, there are expensive ways(which are more permanent) and there are moderate ways and cheap ways.
expensive:get the new One Way unit
get a backing plate from Square
moderate:buy many gears /replace as needed
cheap:cutting/modifying the crown gear(this is a little difficult to explain)
