For those who are coming down to TQ Hobbies Feb 25&26, pitting space is very limited. I advise to bring a tarp, table, chair, extension cord, power strip, portable heater and possibly a portable generator just in case.

do we have to purchase USGT Spec Gravity tire at the event or can we use what we have already?

You can run what you have but they have to be PreMount with mesh wheels

Lex , I know a lot of people that have made their own sets and changed the inserts . To make it fair I think everyone should purchase the tires from you

I had the impression the first race specifically ran the same tire as everyone else?

If one needs a ROAR membership for a race, I would hope that there are proper means in place to ensure that the SpecTire (and insert) is actually the same for all.

The fact that you can assemble your own and it 'appears the same' is shady in itself..

Not quite clear on where the 'perceived' issue is, getting specific, is it with the Solaris or Gravity tires?

for me.. Gravity. apparently you can buy the wheel and tire separately. and effectively put non-spec insert inside..

this isn't your first go-round..

Gravity tires ..... And I've heard of people using the old hpi non belted tires also that look just like the gravity x pattern tires

How about practice with what you have and 1 qualifier and the mains with a control tire.
