Ok. I call that scenario neutral power.

I'd personally have a play with roll centre. I'd first add a 1mm shim to the rear inboard upper link (lower RC) and remove a 1mm shim from the front inboard upper link (higher RC) then try again. If it is worse go in the opposite direction. You can also try a shorter front upper link going to the middle hole which also slightly angles the link. I've had great results doing that.

The stock springs are not the best on asphalt. I prefer HPI blue or silver all round depending on the traction level. I don't like the cars balance if we go different spring front to rear.

A little more front droop can help as well. I wouldn't bother with roll bars and stick with the 1.4mm bar front and rear. That pretty much works everywhere.

I would also check the diff. oil. Go a tick lighter oil.

Wider front track width. It takes the bite out on carpet indoors and settles the car down.

Yes use both. If you don't use the -0.75 hexes you'll be over 190mm

Just got the car and I am running it in USGT. Right now I have a 92t 64p spur. I have looked through here and online and it seems that the 92 is the smallest spur that Serpent makes. Are there any companies that make smaller ones that will fit? Right now, with my gearing, I can not get to the motor bolts at all because of how big my pinion is. Really looking to get a smaller spur so I can use a smaller pinion and get access to the motor.

You can go down to 69T on 48dp. Axon or arrowmax spurs are pretty good.

So I came 2nd at our first nationals but the car was a handful to drive. Not until I changed the wheelbase from 3 mm to 5(!) for the finals could I drive it with some confidence. It was cold (34F) and windy so not the best conditions. I donīt think our tires (Sorex 36) got into the optimal temp levels. But always fun to run on +100 km/h straights.

Hi,

Assembling my new S411 4.0, the shock pistons are very sloppy in the shock body, I can see down the side of the piston, the shock body 10.50mm the Pistons 10.28mm, the oil appears to be going down the side of the Pistons rather than thru the holes, shocks on my old car the Pistons are snug fit. Any idea's ?
