It has something to do with the change in angle of the drive shaft during suspension travel. Raising the diff will give you more on power grip on that end of the car, lowering will take away grip.

Yokomo Blue springs are pretty common these days. I'm currently running Xray 2.6 (long) springs on medium/high traction carpet.

I run my new TC7 in a touring car class and use one of my older TC6.2's in VTA. Most people do this, use an older car for VTA. But I'm sure somewhere, someone is using a TC7 for VTA, it would work great.

Ok i just went to my first onroad carpet track ever and I'm now hooked I think I don't want to touch another offroad car after feeling every change I did either on the car or the radio.
With that said on the front spool the c clips that go over the cvd pins in the out drive kept breaking or shifting. I know stop hitting walls lol. Is there a replacement out drive or spool I can get to have it sit in the out drive with out the closet clip like how the b5 or 44.3 out drives sit thanks in advance

Yes, there is a steel spool cup that doesn't use the blade on the end of the driveshaft. Virtually bullet proof.

The rear isn't a problem the front was because the cups broke and kept breaking blades
I thought the rear was steel already
