TC3 Suspension arms
I have a FT TC3, and I have finnally broke an arm after a full year of racing last year, going thru my inventory of parts, I noticed the rear suspension arms are about 3/16 shorter than the ones I have to replace it with. I looked on rc10.com and saw they sell the rear arm with 2 mounting holes but not the shorter one mounting hole version...
Can someone shed some light onto this situation, perhaps furnish me with a part # of the FT rear suspension arm? Will add a pic in an hour... |
you probably have the old version 1 arms that were discontinued, they had 1 mounting hole. the new version 2 ar,s have 2 holes in them, not sure about the lenght

Associated made a TC3 rally version that was 200mm wide, with longer control arms.
Here's a link: http://www.teamassociated.com/shusti.../tc3_rally.htm I'm certain the longer arms you have, length difference you've described, are for the rally version. I see your picture now, yep that's what it looks like. |
it is the shorter arm I am looking for... if I change to the newer 2 mounting hole arms, I will need to upgrade my cvd's as well

Yes, get the shorter control arms, made for 190mm car width.
You do not need to change CVD's if you get the version with the two shock mounting holes. The extra hole only gives more adjustability for the shock angle. |
